What practices or routines do you follow to rejuvenate your creative mind when you’re feeling burnt out or uninspired?

This is something that I have been experiencing for the past year I would say, and honestly it’s just getting out, being with nature, doing things I love and just taking care of my body and mind. This social media career can be hard sometimes because we can get stuck in this hole of comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we need to be putting in 200% all the time because it seems like the successful creators we look up to are doing just that. It took me some time to even realize that I’ve been experiencing burnout, so the first step was just accepting that I am not myself and that I need to do something different that is good for me and my soul. I like to read, I try to stay off of social media, I listen to music and I spend a lot of time with my family. Funny enough during these moments is when I suddenly find some sort of inspiration to create content and come up with new ideas. Breaks are really important with this job and I’ve learned to take them while not feeling guilty about it.

What are three non-negotiable self-care practices you incorporate into your daily routine, and why are they important to you?

Fitness for sure, journaling (it sounds fluffy but let me tell you, it works and it has a cult following for a reason), and food (you’d be surprised but this is a really important aspect that a lot of people look past. Choosing good food, making good food, and fuelling your body properly is a daily act you can prioritize yourself in). At the end of the day, I think self care boils down to a few things: finding things that make you feel good and realizing that your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you need to maintain (you can’t pour from an empty cup).

Are there particular daily practices you incorporate into your routine to help mitigate feelings of stress and anxiety?

I prioritize a few key habits that help manage stress. I start my mornings with a no-screen rule, allowing myself to wake up calmly without immediate distractions. I often journal in the morning, which helps me process thoughts and get anything off my mind. Moving my body is also a priority – it’s one of my favourite ways to help my anxiety. At night, I try my best to avoid screens before bed to help me wind down. These simple routines keep me grounded and help me manage the stress of daily life.

How do you balance taking care of your mental well-being while juggling the demands of content creation, family life, and your business?

I focus on setting clear boundaries and staying present in each area of my life. Planning ahead helps me stay organized and I prioritize quality time with family to recharge. I’ve also learned to give myself grace—some days are busier than others, and that’s okay. Staying grounded through small, mindful practices, like taking short breaks and practicing gratitude, keeps me centred. Ultimately, balance for me means knowing when to step back and when to dive in.
